Q. Do you provide beach umbrellas?
A. At Harrington House B&B rooms and Bungalows, we provide complimentary beach chairs, beach towels and umbrellas. Rental costs are usually around $10 per week. One local company is “Fun And More Rentals” at 941-462-2719 and www.FunAndMoreRentals.com
Q. When is sea turtle nesting season?
A. Sea turtles are an endangered and protected species. Sea turtle nesting season is April through November every year. Some ways we ask you to help us protect these delicate creatures: please close your drapes and turn off all lights visible to the beach at night. Please take all beach chairs up to the dunes when you are finished with them. Keep the beach clear of obstacles at night; please take all beach furniture with you off the beach. For more information about sea turtles, where to see them and how to help, please visit the AMI turtle watch website at http://islandturtlewatch.com/
