Holocaust Memories: Two Survivors Tell Their Stories

In recognition of the United States Days of Remembrance, the Braden River Branch Library is pleased to welcome two Holocaust survivors to the Library. Roma Solvent, a survivor of the ghetto who ultimately lived in hiding during the war, will share her moving story at 3:00 p.m., and Dr. Henry Tenenbaum, a second-generation survivor, will speak at 4:00 p.m. There will be a Q&A session immediately following each presenter’s talk. Free. No advance registration.

Recycled Fashion Show

Join teens ages 13-19 as they walk the runway wearing an original article of clothing that they created from recycled items! Entertainment during the show will be provided by a DJ and various live musical acts. There will also be an “after party” following the main event with refreshments. The fashion show is free and open to all on a first come, first serve basis.

Braden River Bluegrass Festival And Gumbo Cook Off
